I think that Lee was at a disadvantage because he was stuck with an average-sounding Strat while Pete had an excellent-sounding Tele.

ALWAYS A STRAT!!!!!!!!!!!!... Can't play A tele if you held a fully loaded gun to my head 😸!!!!!!!!!!! I had a 73 strat, that I wish I had never sold 🙀😿😾!!!!!!!!! The middle strat pickup is absolutely PERFECT for a lot of Robin trower's bridge of sighs album sounds!!!!!!! And just for the record, Brian May and his dad developed a knife edge, frictionless trem back in the '60s when to they built his guitar!!!.. end for the record, in case ANYONE doesn't know, he actually DID Play Roger's telly for crazy Little thing! And non maple fingerboards do make a difference in tone! They're not as bright and crisp sounding! And Google this: who designed Eric Clapton's mid boost circuit in his guitar ... There's your info, Lee!

Both have their uses. I’ve never been able to bond with Telecasters. Strats are fantastic guitars, comfortable, versatile and they look incredible. Tele’s aren’t bad, I might have a third and final blast with them in the future.

This guy could make a fortune as a product demonstrator. Captain Lee, you might wanna think about picking him up for a few videos.

I Prefer the Strat if I was to perform, but in the Studio. All Tele's I have a Fender Player Tele, A Squier Jim Root, and looking to Purchase the Sonic Esquire from squier (which i am throwing a 500k push/pull, duncan invader, fender locking tuners, blacked out hardware, and a Fender Jim root tele neck, or a custom Rosewood with maple neck with his exact spec's

I’ll tell you what I like this video so much I want to buy my sheriff 44 back. I wish my 25 would give this exact same sound I like the 25 a great deal but honestly, I kept my sheriff 22 and not the 44 and I do like the headroom on the 44 and certainly there’s no doubt that Was my last Paul. It was a fantastic amp, but I love the master volumes on the 25 and certainly it is better for the house. I had people down the street complaining with the sheriff lol and the 22 is a little quieter, but it doesn’t have the headroom to get those big round Pushed I also learned a new trick instead of using a 2 x 12 closed back if you really want to boost your tone to one by 12s definitely sounds way better thanks. Just thought you might like that tip. I truly do think it sounds better the one by 12 closed back like that the Friedman cabs are what I use and they seem to really push a lot of air without a lot of volumecream backs are the only way to go except scumbag lol love those scumbag speakers, man 15:20

Les Paul is just a super deluxe Tele. That’s why I have a few.

You forget the best SG player for me, the first that comes to mi mind thinking of a SG is Mike Oldfield. Great video!!

The tuners of the green guitar right in front of the JCM800 made me think for a second that this Marshall was an '80's 1959 (plexi) model JCM800 because the first 2 tuners on the guitar looking like they could be inputs on the amp! ! I don't know if anyone noticed that!🤣

The Telecaster is the only guitar in the world with magical ability to be so sonically versatile and still has built in "twang" no other guitar has an innate tone quality built into its structure

If I had to choose, then a Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH. Specifically in Black Cherry.

That fender rumble 25 is poop. 8 in speaker with poor low end.spend a few more bucks and get a rumble 40.and it's better sounding than that boss with all those dumb effects a beginner doesn't need.

Easy decision for me: Aesthetically not a fan of the Tele headstock or even a large (70s) Strat headstock. Even the Tele body is a bit weird to me.

I can't choose- if I'm playing the bridge pickup I want a Tele, if I'm playing the neck pickup I want a Strat. That said- if I were pushed to only have one- I take a HSS Strat- a Fat Strat- best of both worlds. The bridge sounds great, the neck sounds great- and you have that out of phase funk position in the middle.

new one loads better, already. Martin 1970s through early 2000s was just not what it was before, or after. I had a mid 70s, D28 and it sounded stiff, as though made of plastic.

Strat or Tele? Easy. Les Paul.

Both but I’ve played strats since I first started learning in 96 so it’s the most familiar to play

Tele looks better, sounds better and is more comfortable to play. Strat is easier to put humbucker in, but has really ugly headstock. Need both, but HHS Strat.

I love the tele more but its nice playing strat too.

strange,when i was a youth many moons ago in the 70/80s everyone wanted a strat or a les paul,no one wanted a tele,but when i got a bit older i started to love teles,so have 3 now
